The South Dakota Peach Festival will once again feature the World’s Largest Peach Cobbler during its 2-day event on June15-16 at the W.H. Lyon Fairgrounds in Sioux Falls, S.D.

The cobbler measures out to be 11 feet long and 5 feet wide with a depth of about 8 inches. It is made using 90 pounds of butter, 150 pounds of sugar, 150 pounds of flour, 32 gallons of milk, and 75 gallons of Georgia peaches.

The cobbler is made by Rich Bennett and his team of volunteer bakers, and everyone who attends the South Dakota peach festival will have a chance to try some of the cobbler for themselves.

Bennett spends hours preparing the custom-built oven and putting ingredients together to make an old-fashioned peach cobbler from scratch!

In addition to the peach cobbler, the South Dakota Peach Festival will feature live music, entertainment, vendors, a car show, and of course, peaches! More information regarding the festival can be found online at southdakotapeachfestival.com.
