Prayer breakfast planned

Real estate developer Winston Parker, who has Aberdeen connections, will be the keynote speaker at the 28th annual Aberdeen Community Prayer Breakfast March 28.

Parker, who lives in Jacksonville, Fla., grew up on a ranch in Colorado. He started his career as a school teacher, along with having farming and ranching interests. He and a partner developed a chain of Gibson Discount Stores, including one that was in Aberdeen. Parker and his wife, Judy, have three grown children and three grandchildren.

The breakfast runs from 6:45 to 8:05 a.m. at the Ramkota Hotel Convention Center.

It is presented by the Christian Business Men’s Committee of Aberdeen.

Tickets are $10 each. A table of eight is $80.
