Free kite event set for May 5

The annual “Let’s Go Fly a Kite” event in Warner will run from 1 to 3 p.m. May 5.

A total of 150 free kites will be given away. Included in that number is a limited supply of Angry Bird kites. All those attending will be served free hot dogs, brats, chips and juice.

The event is presented by Kids R Us. It will take place on the south side of the Warner School.

In case of bad weather, the event will move to May 19.
