Many Sundays in the choir loft

Sue Gates will be honored May 19 for playing the piano, flute and chimes for 25 years at Zion Lutheran Church, 1732 S. Main St. A reception will take place between services. The gathering will run from about 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. in the fellowship hall. Gates is assistant music director at the church.
