Free activities, entertainment offered at Storybook Land

The Aberdeen Parks, Recreation and Forestry Department is offering free entertainment and activities at Storybook Land all through the summer.

A craft activity, sponsored by the Aberdeen Optimist Club, is at 7 p.m. Monday. Participants can come make clip pin airplanes.

As part of the Wylie Park Fourth of July Celebration, the Storybook Land Theatre Company will perform at 5 p.m. Thursday at the castle.

The company will also have performances of “Cucumber Phil” at 10 a.m. Tuesday and 7 p.m. Wednesday and Friday.

Special story time for children ages 3-7, co-sponsored by the Alexander Mitchell Public Library, is at 10 a.m. Friday.
