Nashville-based band The Desert City Ramblers will be the featured entertainment at the 2022 Ag Appreciation Banquet.

The Aberdeen Chamber of Commerce’s Ag Committee will hold its annual Ag Appreciation Banquet starting at 5:30 p.m. Jan. 21 at the Dakota Event Center, 720 Lamont St., Aberdeen.

The social begins at 5:30 p.m., dinner and program at 6:30 p.m. and entertainment around 7:45 p.m. The guest speaker will be Amanda Radke, South Dakota farmer and rancher and BEEF Daily blogger. The Farm Family of the Year, sponsored by the Farm Forum and Agtegra, will be honored during the program.

The last banquet was held in November 2019 and had typically been held in the month of November. Due to a few years of late harvest, which prevented some farmers from attending, the banquet was moved to January. It was not held in 2020 due to COVID-19.

Nashville-based band The Desert City Ramblers will be making their debut appearance in Aberdeen as the evening’s entertainment.

Tickets are $25 and include a meal and entertainment. They can be purchased at the chamber office, 516 S. Main St., Aberdeen, or over the phone by calling 605-225-2860.
