OMAHA, Neb. – Shorthorn exhibitors, breeders and enthusiasts alike, will soon head to the mile high city for the National Western Stock Show (NWSS) in Denver, Colo., for a few days of competition and camaraderie.

The weekend of Shorthorn events starts “In the Yards” on Jan. 19 at 11 a.m. with the National Pen Bull and Heifer Show held in the Pepsi Arena. The Shorthorn Pen Show has been steadily growing in numbers and another great showing is expected this year.

On Jan. 20, events move to the “Hill” for the Junior PACE Heifer Show that will begin at 11 a.m. in the Stadium Arena followed by the Junior ShorthornPlus Heifer Show. The Major PACE Bull Show will then begin after the conclusion of Junior ShorthornPlus show.

The second print, “The Choice”, was captured at the Kansas State Fair Junior Show and will go to benefit the American Junior Shorthorn Association (AJSA).

The sale parade will begin at 5 p.m. on Jan. 20, in the Stadium Arena followed by the sale at 6 p.m. in the Beef Palace Auction Arena. The full catalog can be found online at
