SIOUX FALLS – Mike Willard, Colton., judged the Sioux Empire Farm Show Limousin Show Jan. 24 in Sioux Falls.

Willard chose lot 6, Master BRUN Juniper 24452, a consignment from Bruner Limousin Inc., Winfred., as champion bull. He was sired by Master BRUN Anapolis 612R and out of Lady BRUN 9495. He sold for $2,600 to Swenson Farms, Milford, Iowa.

Reserve champion bull went to lot 11, WASY Yosemite 630Y, a consignment from Symens Bros. Limousin, Amherst. He was sired by ROMN Walk the Walk 101W and out of JASY Black Angel 36J. He sold for $3,700 to Schmale Bros., Emerson, Neb.

The highest selling bull was lot 5, a consignment from Nolz Limousin, Mitchell. He sold to Larry Laska, Lake Andes., for $4,800. Nolz Limousin also had the second highest selling bull, lot 8. He sold to Fred Staudy, Bryant., for $4,500.

Willard chose lot 2, Lady BRUN 2131Y, a consignment from Bruner Limousin Inc., as champion female. She was sired by Master BRUN Gus 1512U and out of Lady BRUN 1264T. She sold for $2,950 to Kevin Ricke, Westside, Iowa.

Reserve champion female was lot 1, DLMC Zinfandel 205Z, a consignment from Dustin and Lauren Mohrhauser, Delevan, Minn. She was sired by MSTT Winchester and out of Miss SYES Platinum 369W.

Chisum Peterson, Pukwana., served as auctioneer for the Limousin Sale. He auctioned 10 bulls and one female. Ten bulls averaged $2,870.
