Spink County Shooting Sports Tournament results

The Hubert H. Humphrey auditorium in Doland, S.D., was packed with young marksman on Saturday, March 2. The BB gun tournament went from 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. with over 200 competitors. The shooters first take a gun safety and knowledge test, followed by shooting in four positions: prone, sitting, standing, and kneeling. The shooters must also be on their best behavior as silent judges watch for sportsmanlike conduct throughout the day and award the team with the most sportsmanship. All trophies are sponsored by Bank of the West. The gun cases are sponsored by Spink County Shooting Sports.
