U.S. Ayrshire accepting grant applications

COLUMBUS, Ohio – The U.S. Ayrshire Breeders’ Foundation is now accepting applications for its first grant award of $500. The successful candidate may use the funds for:

· Ayrshire breed advancement through genetic and promotion projects;

· Ayrshire breed development through program development and youth education; and/or

· Ayrshire international development.

“This is an exciting time us,” explains Foundation Chairman Bruce Nelson of Tony, WI. “This initial grant process is showing that our newly-formed U.S. Ayrshire Breeders Foundation is active and working towards a future filled with bigger and better things for the Ayrshire breed.”
