Three River Ranchers

The Three River Ranchers 4-H club held a meeting at the Westport Church Hall on January 12, 2014.

Derrick Podoll called the meeting to order. Erin Hertel recited the American fledge pledge, and Jessica Hertel recited the 4-H pledge. Not all of the members were present in this meeting.

Mikayla Forsting led the secretary report. Erin Hertel made a motion to approve and Hayden Podoll seconded it. The was no treasurer’s report.

There was some old business. Potential members needed to enroll online to be part of the 4-H club. There were some 4-H scholarships for the seniors. The members are starting to sell 4-H fruit. Becca is also starting project days that are going to be held at the Extension Office. Shooting sports are also going to be starting.

New Buisness is any ideas for shut-in gifts for Valentines. On March 1 the club is doing a community project. Members will go to Lakewood Mall and sell Herbergers coupon books.

The Three River Ranchers will hold their next meeting in the Westport Church Hall on Feb. 15 at 5 p.m. There will be a supper for the parents and all of the Three River Rancher members. Everyone will host next meeting.

Derrick Podoll made a motion to adjourn the meeting, and Hayden Podoll seconded it. Erin Hertell gave a demonstration on how to make a bracelet out of rubber bands.
