Hitchcock-Tulare FFA chapter receives grant

The S.D. Department of Agriculture announces that the Hitchcock-Tulare FFA Chapter was awarded one of the 23 grants through the Building Our South Dakota Rural Communities (BOSDRC) grant program. The Hitchcock-Tulare FFA Chapter used the Basic Community Grant for the community park and the Safety Grant for semi trailer caution- reflective signs.

These grants are available annually to 4-H Clubs, FFA Chapters and FCCLA Chapters. The purpose of the grant program is to assist the agricultural youth in beautifying and improving their communities by working together to accomplish educational and project goals.
