Edmunds County Shooting Sports postal results

The Edmunds County Shooting Sports held their first postal on Monday, Feb. 24. Shooting a qualifying score enables the shooter to participate in the State Shoot in April.

Nineteen BB Gun shooters showed their skills in standing, kneeling, sitting, and prone positions.

Qualifying for state in BB Gun were beginners Claire Beyers-284, Hailey Bierman-297, Katie Bierman-251, Ashton Loken-295, Ashley Ptacek-281, Gabe Simon-256, Colby Sylte-284, and Grace Wambach-273, and Juniors Ben Kulesa-346.1, Avery Sylte-315, and Josie Sylte-315.

Also shooting BB Gun were Elliot Beyers, Emma Beyers, Trevor Heinz, Jailey Hutson, Taryn Kleffman, Baylee Kulesa, Trevor Larson, and Carson Malsom.

Four members showed their skills in Air Pistol. Qualifying for state were Beginners Ashton Loken-140 and Gabe Simon-112, and Junior Ben Kulesa-130. Also shooting but not qualifying was Baylee Kulesa.

Eleven members competed in the Archery Discipline. Qualifying for state were Beginners Caleb Johnson-CWS-R-127.3, Jordan Nierman-CWS-R-122.1, Quincy Olivier-CWS-R-111.1, and Grant Weisser-CWOS-91.2 and Juniors Miles Hoffman0CWS-R-114.3 and Nathan Preszler-CWS-R-110.4. Other shooters were Kaden Boettcher, Braden Huber, Austin Rawden, Gabe Simon, Alanna Wiedrich, and Noah Wiedrich.

BB Gun and Air Pistol are coached by Joe Galbraith, Ryan Holien, LeRoy Kilber, and Jeremiah Horst. Archery is coached by Jesse Nierman.
