Farm Safety Camp June 17 in Ipswich

There is going to be a joint county Farm Safety Camp held at the 4-H building in Ipswich on June 17. The time is scheduled from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. with lunch being provided. Registration is open to all youth ages 8-14 years old from Edmunds and McPherson County. Registration is due by April 15th to the county Extension office.

There will be several safety demonstrations held by local community members. Youth will receive a free T-shirt and valuable information about household safety as well as farm safety. There will be lots to do and lots to see! Everyone is welcome.

We are looking for high school students interested in helping with the event.

Some of the sponsors and demonstrators include: Edmunds County Implement, North Central Farmers Elevator, Farm Credit Services of America, Prescription Ag, FEM Electric, and local ambulance and firefighting crews.
