2014 Barnyard Classic to be held in Sioux Falls June 28 – July 4

The South Dakota group is excited to be hosting the 2014 National Junior Gelbvieh Show at the W.H. Lyons Fairgrounds in Sioux Falls, S.D., on June 29-July 4th.

This years Classic was named the Barnyard Classic by the SDGJA members. We have a fun filled week planned for the Jr. Gelbvieh members and their families who will attend from all across the United States.

Each year the Junior Classic helps promote youth to become future leaders not only within the Gelbvieh breed but within the beef industry as a whole. Along with the opportunity to showcase their cattle in the show ring, AGJA members will test themselves against their peers in a variety of leadership and industry contests. Members also have the opportunity to run for national ambassador and junior board positions. This is truly an educational and fun event for all involved.
