The Putney Putovers 4-H Club met on March 10 in the Groton Community Center at 6 p.m. Porter and Brenna Johnson were host and hostesses. Brenna led the U.S. flag pledge, Porter led the state pledge, and Dylan led the 4-H pledge.
Roll call topic was “What I love about spring.” The secretary’s report was given by Tage Taylor. The treasurer’s report was $2040.42. Joellen made a motion to accept the treasurer’s report, and Caleb Hanten seconded it.
Community service was done by Joellen Gonsoir who helped at the farm safety convention and Dylan Krueger who mowed at a church and at the baseball field.
Business discussed at the meeting: The club’s total for fruit sales was $4,441.00 and orders were picked up on March 18th. In the April meeting, members will be sewing their pillow cases.
The next meeting will be held at the Community Center on April 7 at 6 p.m. Host and hostesses are Shyla Larson and Carley Wheeting. Community service will be given by Porter and Brenna Johnson.
