Cow to Cup 5K to be held June 7
MILLER, S.D. – South Dakota Agriculture in the Classroom and the South Dakota State University (SDSU) Dairy Club will host the Cow to Cup 5K to raise money for two ag groups.
The event begins at 8 a.m. CDT on Saturday, June 7, in Brookings starting at the SDSU Dairy Bar. Racers will run or walk from there to the SDSU Dairy Farm and return back to the Dairy Bar.
“The Cow to Cup 5K is an opportunity to get some exercise, visit with friends and benefit two organizations working to promote agriculture in South Dakota,” said Ann Price, South Dakota Ag in the Classroom executive director.
Anyone interested in participating in the Cow to Cup 5K can register online at www.allsportcentral.com at a cost of $25. Cost the day of the race is $35. Participants receive a free T-shirt. The race is open to all ages.
