Edmunds County 4-H’ers compete in second consumer judging school
Members of Edmunds County 4-H met at the Bowdle School Lunchroom for the second Consumer Decision Making Judging School. Judgers had to make decisions on breakfast foods, snacks, body wash, toys for babysitting, checking accounts, accessory for an outfit, nail polish, gloves for woodworking, and wants vs needs.
Sixteen 4-H members competed in the two schools. High point individuals at the first school were Beginner Jailey Hutson, Junior Payton Eisenbeisz, and Senior Heather Fuhrmann. The second school high point individuals were Beginner Nicholas Fuhrmann and Junior Payton Eisenbeisz.
Scores from both schools will be added and the top four will be selected to judge at the South Dakota State Fair. Announcement of the teams will be made at the Edmunds County Achievement Days in August.
