North Dakota Angus Tour Set for Sept. 15-16

Enjoy socializing with fellow Angus peers, as well as meeting new acquaintances during the upcoming North Dakota Angus tour. The tour will headquarter out of Jamestown, N.D., and feature Angus breeders in the southeastern part of the state.

Tour stops on the two-day excursion include Prairie Pride Angus, Nome; Erdmann Angus, Lisbon; Sprunk Angus, Chaffee; the North Dakota State University Beef Research Facility, Fargo; Hoffman Angus, Wheatland, with guest displayer Anderson Angus Ranch of Chaffee; Hatlewick Cattle Company, Jamestown; Vandeberghe’s Flying V Angus, Cleveland; Spring Valley Angus, LaMoure; and Wendel Livestock, LaMoure.

The cost of the tour, which includes a two-day bus ride, all meals, and one night lodging at the Gladstone Inn in Jamestown, is $75 per person or $100 per couple, if you pre-register before Aug. 20. After Aug. 20, the cost is $100 per person or $125 per couple.

12:10-2 p.m. – Dinner at Sprunk Angus, Chaffee

2:40-4:30 p.m. – NDSU Beef Research Facility Tour, Fargo

5-7:15 p.m. – Certified Angus Beef® brand supper at Hoffmann Angus, Wheatland with guest consignor Anderson Angus Ranch, Chaffee

8:15 p.m. – Buses return to Jamestown for the evening.

Tuesday, Sept. 16

7:30-8:45 a.m. – Breakfast at Hatlewick Cattle Co., Jamestown

9:15-10:15 a.m. – Vandeberghe’s Flying V Angus, Cleveland

11:05-11:45 a.m. – Elston Lone Tree Ranch, Spiritwood

12:35-2 p.m. – Dinner at Spring Valley Angus, LaMoure

2:15-3:15 p.m. – Wendel Livestock, LaMoure

4:20 p.m. – Buses return to Jamestown.
