Vela Environmental, a division of Kennedy and Coe, LLC, and a leading U.S. agricultural accounting and consulting firm, announces that Kristin Weeks Duncanson will be consulting with the firm as an agricultural advisor on sustainability issues. She will provide leadership on how sustainability services can be integrated into agriculture business decisions in order to achieve a ‘triple bottom line’ – social, environmental and economic.

“Kristin is a valuable resource for understanding practical solutions to advance sustainable solutions in the food and agriculture sectors,” says Laura Sands, a principal of Kennedy and Coe and managing partner of Vela Environmental. “She is an outstanding leader in agriculture. Her expertise will ensure that as sustainability systems are developed for agriculture the producer viewpoint is taken into account.”

“I am excited for the opportunity to work with producers and food companies on complex issues, like natural resource challenges and how to think about sustainability as a ‘triple bottom line’ strategy, rather than just another questionnaire or checklist,” explains Weeks Duncanson.
