Brookings — SGS Brookings is proud to announce that three of its seed technologists have achieved Certified Viability Technologist (CVT) status through its technical and professional membership organization, Society of Commercial Seed Technologists (SCST). Ginger McNickle, Evan Jensen and Chase Mowry will reinforce our existing team of seed testing professionals, many with this same accreditation.

The SGS Brookings laboratory has more than 400 years of experience in the seed testing industry and offers the many services, such as traditional seed vigor testing, PCR analysis, genetic & physical purity, trait confirmation, seed export services, laboratory research services and audit, analytical and field services.

Delivering services to clients by an educated and professional workforce that is continually striving to increase its knowledge is important to the laboratory, according to Michelle Robbins, its Managing Director, “It’s imperative to me, as the facility’s leader, that the staff is continually focusing on technical achievements, as well as challenging themselves to grow and learn every day. Our clients deserve that.”
