Northern States Beef Cattle Conference coming Jan. 5-6

BROOKINGS, S.D. – The 2015 Northern States Beef Conference will be held on January 5 and 6 at the Jackpot Junction Casino Hotel in Morton, Minn. This conference is a joint effort between SDSU Extension, the University of Minnesota Beef Team and North Dakota State University.

“The Northern States Beef Conference will feature well-known speakers who will provide updates on production topics, in both cow/calf and feedlot, addressing changes in the beef industry along with potential management options and technologies,” said Warren Rusche, SDSU Extension Cow/Calf Field Specialist.

The conference is open to producers and industry-affiliated people and includes a day and half educational program, opportunities to visit with speakers and a trade show with displays from the beef industry.
