Sustainable Farming Association Annual Conference: 25 years of loving the land

The Sustainable Farming Association will mark its 25th anniversary during its annual conference from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Feb. 14 at the College of Saint Benedict’s Gorecki Center in St. Joseph, Minn.

The conference, the Upper Midwest’s farmer networking showcase, is tailored to the local sustainable farming community – farmers and food enthusiasts alike can take part in a variety of sessions led by local experts and SFA members. Topics range from Deep Winter Greenhouses, sheep farming and livestock fencing to culinary demonstrations like wine pairing and braising grass-fed beef. Children’s programming is also offered for budding farmers ages 3-12.

The SFA Annual Conference is truly a showcase of the innovative and talented Minnesota local foods community and is a fantastic opportunity to network with friends new and old.

This event is open to the public and attendees may pre-register online at through Jan. 31. SFA members are entitled to a $10 discount if they register before Jan. 31. Walk-up registration begins at 7:15 a.m. on Feb. 14.
