NRCS State Technical Committee to meet May 19 in Pierre
Huron – The Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) will hold the State Technical Committee (STC) meeting on Tuesday, May 19, at the RedRossa Highland/Hills Ballroom located at 808 W. Sioux Avenue, Pierre, South Dakota. The meeting is open to the public and will begin at 10 a.m. The STC serves as an advisor to the NRCS State Conservationist.
The tentative agenda for the meeting will include FY2015 Program updates: Environmental Quality Incentives Program (EQIP), Conservation Stewardship Program (CSP), Agricultural Conservation Easement Program (ACEP); State Conservation Innovation Grants (CIG); update on Conservation Standards in the Field Office Technical Guide; State Resource Assessment/State Priority Resource Concerns; South Dakota Wetland Compliance update; State Offsite Methods update; Wetlands Mitigation Subcommittee update; and the Conservation Reserve Program (CRP) update.
