Central Electric Cooperative names new manager
The board of directors for Central Electric Cooperative at Mitchell, S.D. has announced that Ken Schlimgen will take over as the cooperative’s general manager on July 1, 2015.
Schlimgen has been with the cooperative for thirty years, the past 25 of which have been as the Manager of Member Services and Marketing. The Dimock native will replace current general manager Loren Noess who retires July 1, 2015.
Schlimgen himself said he is excited and looking forward to the opportunity and, “is grateful for the confidence the Board of Directors has placed in me. We are going to continue the cooperative’s record of providing outstanding customer service, and reliable electric service with an excellent safety record.”
