French ag executives visit Noteboom Implement
Luis Costa Pinto, global director of Michelin Agricultural Sales from the Michelin headquarters in Clermont-Ferrand, France, made his first ever visit to a farm implement dealership in the United States on May 26. Noteboom Implement in Corsica was honored to be selected for this visit, which included other executives from the Michelin Ag Division in North America.
According to Dan Noteboom, CEO of Noteboom Implement, “We were selected based on our relationship with Michelin going back to 1996. Thanks to our great team of tire techs and 3 mobile tire trucks in South Dakota headed by Steve Soulek, we have been able to keep pace with the cutting edge technology offered on farm implement tires and how they help our producers be more efficient in their operations.” Noteboom went on to say, “The Michelin ag team came to Noteboom Implement to learn how we provide value added services to our ag customers and what Michelin can do to further develop the agricultural dealer network across North America.”
Steve Soulek, Noteboom’s tire manager, said “We have had a good relationship with Michelin over the years through our distributor WW Tire. We try to set the bar in ag tire service and make sure the farm customer gets the right tire for the right application.”
Noteboom Implement has John Deere Dealerships in Corsica, Chamberlain, and Parkston, S.D., along with Spencer, Lake Park, and Sibley, Iowa.
