Find Your Wild Side With 4-H

The 2015 Edmunds County Achievement Days will be held on August 5-7th. This year’s theme is Find Your Wild Side With 4-H. Events are planned for each day. Concessions will be available at all events.

August 5 will begin with the dog show starting at 8:00 am at the 4-H Building in Ipswich. The day will conclude at the Trail Days Arena with the Open Horse Show and Fun Day starting at 5:00 p.m.

August 6 starts off with entering and judging of Static Exhibits at 11. The afternoon will include a fashion revue contest, horticulture skill-a-thon, Cat Judging, and Rabbit Judging. There is also a drone demonstration at 5:30 p.m. followed by the Nursing Home Animal Show. The evening will conclude with the pre 4-H Pet Show followed by the crowning of the 2015 Royalty.

August 7 will be the Livestock show starting at 9:00 a.m. This will be followed by the Heifer Futurity and Open Swimming at the Ipswich Pool with Diving for Quarters. The evening will conclude with the Annual BBQ featuring Chicken and the Livestock Premium Sale.
