NRCS State Technical Committee to meet September 15 in Huron
Huron, SD – The Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) will hold the State Technical Committee (STC) meeting on Tuesday, September 15, 2015, at the Crossroads Hotel and Convention Center located at 100 4th Street SW, Huron, South Dakota. The meeting is open to the public and will begin at 10 a.m. The STC serves as an advisor to the NRCS State Conservationist.
The tentative agenda for the meeting will include Fiscal year (FY) 2015 program summary to include Environmental Quality Incentives Program (EQIP), Conservation Stewardship Program (CSP), and Agricultural Conservation Easement Program (ACEP); Local-led workgroup discussion; FY 2016 timelines; FY2015 Strikeforce projects update and call for FY 2016 projects; state Conservation Innovation Grants (CIG) update; South Dakota Wetlands Compliance update; and Wetlands Mitigation Subcommittee update.
