The Community Conversations powered by the Bush Foundation is June 14 in Yankton
BROOKINGS, S.D. – The Bush Foundation will round out its listening sessions in South Dakota when staff from the organization come to Yankton for their final Community Conversation.
The event is scheduled in Yankton on June 14, 2016 held at Mount Marty College in the Roncalli Center Dining Room, (1105 W 8th St). The event is free and open to anyone in the region.
Beginning at 10 a.m. with registration, the event will feature success stories from the round table facilitated discussions held throughout the region.
“This event provides an opportunity to learn about potential funding available from the Bush Foundation and provides participants with the opportunity to network and connect to several resource providers in South Dakota,” said Kari O’Neill, SDSU Extension Community Development Field Specialist.
A complimentary lunch will be served, with the event finishing by 2:30 pm.
This event ends a series of community round table discussions which the Bush Foundation began in 2014. The Bush Foundation worked with SDSU Extension facilitate and coordinate the events.
Following the structured conversations, Bush Foundation staff will be available to set up one-on-one discussions with any organization who wants to learn more about the available funding and how it might fit with their mission and ideas.
