Farms After Five tour showcases local farms
SIOUX FALLS, SD – South Dakota Farm Families is hosting two Farms After Five tours in July. The evening tours will run from 5:30pm – 9:00pm, and a bus will take participants from Sioux Falls to the farms. Event participants will have the opportunity to speak with the families that work on the farm each day, and see how cattle, pigs, and dairy cows are raised.
At each location guests will tour the farm and have the opportunity to have their questions about farming answered. Farmers and other industry experts, such as vets, nutritionists and herd health consultants, will be in attendance to make sure no question goes unanswered. During the evening participants will also receive a free meal and have the opportunity to listen to a guest speaker.
