Celebrating 110 years of 4-H in Minnehaha County

BROOKINGS, S.D. – To celebrate 110 years of 4-H in Minnehaha County, the Minnehaha County 4-H Leader’s Association and Minnehaha County 4-H Promotion and Expansion Committee will be hosting a celebration and program during the Sioux Empire Fair at the W.H. Lyon Fairground’s Expo Building on Sunday, August 7, 2016 at 2 p.m.

The celebration will include a program with former and current Minnehaha County 4-H members, recognition of Minnehaha County 4-H volunteers and donors and a discussion of the future of Minnehaha County 4-H.

A cake and coffee social will follow the program.

There will also be numerous historical pictures and items on display.

The program is free to attend but there is a $7 fair entry fee.
