Youth compete in N.D. State 4-H Fair Dairy Show

Youth from across the state participated in the 4-H dairy show at the 2016 North Dakota State Fair in Minot on Friday, July 29. Youth competed for champion overall dairy animal.

The showmanship contest split youth into three age divisions: junior, intermediate and senior. Showmanship winners competed in the round robin showmanship contest on Saturday, July 30.

Sydney Kleingartner, Gackle, showed the champion overall senior dairy cow, champion overall junior dairy cow and champion overall dairy cow with her Brown Swiss.

Chance Manhart, Sentinel Butte, had the reserve champion overall senor dairy cow and the reserve champion overall dairy cow with his Jersey.

Jacklyn Pazdernik, New Salem, had the reserve champion overall junior dairy cow with her Holstein.
