Record number of 4-H show animals entered in 2016 Brown County Fair
A record-breaking number of 4-H show animals registered to compete in various contests or shows at this year’s Brown County Fair.
Becca Tullar, the Brown County 4-H youth advisor, said 765 animals are being shown at this year’s fair, which is the highest number of show animals in Brown County Fair history.
Tullar said show animal numbers for all species have steadily increased in the past few years.
Despite shutting down the avian exhibits and shows during last year’s fair due to the avian flu, Tullar said bird numbers have bounced back strong this year.
