South Dakota small business awarded national growth grant

DALLAS, TX – The National Association for the Self-Employed (NASE), the nation’s leading advocate and resource for the self-employed and micro-business community, announced recently that Box Elder, South Dakota small business FreedomWild Outdoors has been awarded a 2016 Growth Grant.

FreedomWild Outdoors is one of six winners of NASE’s first-half 2016 Growth Grants and will receive $4,000 to help grow and expand their business operations. These six small businesses are the first-half winners of the 2016 Growth Grant awards. This year, NASE will hand out $48,000 in grants to small businesses across the country.

FreedomWild Outdoors located in Box Elder, South Dakota is owned by Richard Greenman, an NASE member. FreedomWild Outdoors, LLC is the place that hunters and anglers turn to for outdoor products and services that aren’t offered by traditional retailers and outfitters. FreedomWild covers everything from fly-fishing to taxidermy & game processing to mobile apps.

“On behalf of the nation’s leading association for the self-employed and micro-business community, it’s our honor to announce FreedomWild Outdoors as a recipient of our first-half 2016 Growth Grant of $4,000,” said John Hearrell, Vice President of Membership and Affiliate Programs. “It is critical for us to support and recognize small business owners and sole proprietors who are exemplifying America’s entrepreneurial spirit.

Hearrell continued, “The awarding of this grants signifies our belief in this South Dakota-based small businesses and we look forward to watching Richard make the critical investments needed to grow and expand this locally owned business.”

Since 2006, the NASE has awarded over half a million dollars to members through the Growth Grant program by providing small business grants. NASE’s Growth Grant program is intended for businesses planning to take the next step in their venture. It provides available capital for small businesses and sole proprietors to be able to hire and train additional employees, market their business in new and existing ways or invest in new equipment or software.

Applications for the NASE’s 2016 Growth Grant program are currently being accepted from now through December 10th, 2016. Applications are considered on a rolling basis throughout the year and winning small businesses will be awarded $4,000 grants monthly throughout 2016. Visit the Growth Grant page for more information.
