Organized by the German American Chamber of Commerce of the Midwest in partnership with Farm Bureaus in Iowa, Nebraska and South Dakota, this round table aims to open a dialogue between American and German representatives of Iowa, Nebraska and South Dakota that continues in March 2017 during a study trip to Germany. The program is supported by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy through the European Recovery Program (ERP). Active exchange between American and German agriculture professionals in the context of this initiative will enable professional and emotional bonds to be formed at the corporate and personal levels, which will enable, stimulate, and deepen transatlantic exchange. This round table is a part of the Transatlantic Dialogue-Agricultural Perspectives with a focus on The Future of Family Farming
