NRCS State Technical Committee to meet May 16 in Fort Pierre
Huron – The Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) will hold the State Technical Committee (STC) Meeting on May 16 at the Drifters Event Center located at 325 Hustan Avenue, Fort Pierre, S.D. The meeting is open to the public and will begin at 10 a.m. The STC serves as an advisor to the NRCS State Conservationist.
The tentative agenda for the meeting includes a presentation on some U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service Species Listing Decisions, Water Treatmet Facility Conservation Innovation Grant (CIG); Conservation Collaboration Grant (CCG); a Fiscal Year (FY) 2017 program update to include Environmental Quality Incentives Program (EQIP), Conservation Stewardship Program (CSP), Agricultural Conservation Easement Program (ACEP), and the Resource Conservation Partnership Program (RCPP); Conservation Innovation Grant; Conservation Reserve Program (CRP); Special Projects Update; Resource Concerns and Locally-Led Update, the South Dakota Wetland Compliance Update; and more.
