KANSAS CITY — The Hereford Youth Foundation of America (HYFA) is proud to announce their newest member of the Foundation 1 Club, the Hereford Prep Collection, Refugio, Texas.

Hereford Prep is a stylish clothing line for livestock enthusiasts. Hereford Prep was created to provide unique opportunities for young people to learn more about operating a business. Their young interns are the main drivers behind the business, which provides them with not only job experience but scholarship opportunities also. Their interns design the clothing line, model and sell the products across the country. You can find them at many of the major stock shows across the United States, including the 2018 Junior National Hereford Expo (JNHE) in Grand Island, Neb. Visit their online shop at HerefordPrep.com.

The Foundation 1 Club is a group of breeders who donate a percentage of their sale gross to HYFA to benefit leadership, scholarship and educational experiences for Hereford youth.

“The Hereford Youth Foundation of America is fortunate to have such a gracious network of donors,” said Amy Cowan, American Hereford Association director of youth activities and foundation. “Hereford Prep is a platform for youth livestock enthusiasts and follows our educational mission very closely. Hereford Prep teaming up with the Foundation 1 Club sets the stage for continued growth for our leadership and educational programs.”
