Brianna Erdmann of Leola, S.D., was recently crowned the 2018-2019 South Dakota Angus Queen. Erdmann was crowned on June 19 at the annual state show held in Watertown, S.D. She will represent the breed at shows, sales and events that promote the Angus breed and Certified Angus Beef. As a life long owner and exhibitor of Angus cattle, she has several years of experience in displaying and promoting the breed. You could say that Angus cattle are in her genetics, as she is a fourth generation Angus producer, from both sides of her family tree. The McPherson County 4-H alumni has been in the ring showing Angus cattle from the age of six.

Brianna is a sophomore at South Dakota State University and is pursuing a degree in marketing and economics.

Any Angus producer who would like to request her presence at their sale or event needs to just give a call to Erdmann Angus Ranch at 605-439-3744 or email at erdmannangus@valleytel.net.
