Sadie Bingham of Gary crowned UMN Crookston Ag Arama 2019 princess

CROOKSTON, Minn. — Sadie Bingham of Gary was named the Ag Arama princess at the 2019 Ag Arama at UMN Crookston.

Royalty were crowned at the 44th annual Ag Arama at the University Teaching and Outreach Center at the University of Minnesota Crookston. This year’s Ag Arama was dedicated to the memory of Associate Professor Abdorrahman “Abdo” Alghamdi and the theme was “Caught up in the Country.”

Royalty were chosen through a process that includes an interview, an essay, showmanship and a vote by students. The candidates are chosen by faculty for the recognition.

Crowned as king was Adam McDonald, as queen Neka Davis, as prince Dan Rowe and as princess Sadie Bingham.

Bingham of Gary is a member of the Class of 2021 and is majoring in Agricultural Education.
