Regenerative agriculture field day – Aug. 10 near Estelline
By prioritizing and promoting soil health and life on the farm, farmers and ranchers find that adopting a regenerative lifestyle supports not only their farms, but also the activities of their neighbors and their communities.
Blue Dasher Farm near Estelline will host a Field Day in Regenerative Agriculture at 2 p.m. on Aug. 10.
Will Harris of White Oaks Pastures in Bluffton, Ga., will present "Radically Traditional Farming."
Steve Tucker of Venango, Neb., will present "Farming for Profit Regeneratively: Crossing Regions."
There will be a round table discussion with members of the Blue Dasher Farm Soil Builders Coffee Club.
There will be a free, locally catered super to follow the event for 200 attendees. The farm is located on the northeast corner of exit 157 on I-29 (the Bradnt exit; wood house with a purple roof).
