The Dakota Sharpshooters 4-H Club met on Sept. 3 at Northern Electric at 5:30 p.m. The hosts were the Sharps. Ryan Goldade led the Pledge of Allegiance, and Anna Johnson led the 4-H Pledge.
Dawson Erdmann gave a talk on how to care for your rabbit, and Rayven Dutenhoffer gave a talk on polydactyl cats. Anna and Norman Johnson gave a brief talk on their experience at Livestock Judging Camp.
Old business was reports on the Brown County Fair and the South Dakota State Fair in Huron over Labor Day weekend. New business was record books due Sept. 17. The club will be one of the clubs responsible for the 4-H float during the Gypsy Day Parade. Members will be picking up garbage at the Bath Corner on Sept. 15 at 3 p.m. and then go for bowling and pizza afterwards. The next meeting will be Oct. 1 at 5:30 p.m. at Northern Electric. The host is Maddy Crawford.
