The September meeting of the Lazy Farmers 4-H Club was held at the Andover Threshing Bee grounds Sept. 7 after the club served a delicious ham meal.
Alicia Daves led the group in the Pledge of Allegiance, and Jayla Jones led the 4-H Pledge.
There was a discussion about what to serve for next year’s threshing bee and the meal price and that 4-H books were due soon. A reminder was also given to send thank you notes to premium sponsors and that National 4-H Week begins Oct. 6.
Logan gave a talk on how to drive softly.
The next meeting will be at Northern Electric in Bath, Oct. 13 at 5:00 p.m. Elections will be held, and anyone interested in 4-H is encouraged to attend.
