Oklahoma bound: Hitchcock-Tulare wins Central Region FFA Land Judging Contest

The Hitchcock-Tulare FFA chapter attended the annual Central Region Land and Range competition in Wessington-Springs. The land team placed 1st out of 17 teams, which qualifies them for National Land Contest in Oklahoma City in May. Leading the team was 1st place individual Caden Bottum, followed by 2nd place individual Jedidiah Waldner and 3rd place individual Andy Brooker. All three received a gold rating. The fourth member of the team is Kyle Hamilton, 16th place individual with a silver rating. Others that also placed were Mason Bottum, 21st; Danielle Nowell, 25th; and Elliott Hartford, 29th — all three earning a silver rating.

The Hitchcock-Tulare FFA Range Judging team placed placed second out of seven teams.

Individually placing in the Range division was Titus Waldner, 1st; Bailey Binger, 4th — both received a gold rating. Receiving a bronze ratings were the following: Ashely Masat, 15th; Ashely Godfrey, 17th; and Wyatt Brooker, 18th.
