Preventable entrapment cases and fatalities related to grain bin entry are on the rise due to less than ideal grain storage conditions. Protect your employees and your company by attending the 2020 Grain Engulfment Prevention Summit on April 25, 9 a.m. to 2:45 p.m. at Mitchell Tech, 1800 East Spruce St., in Mitchell, S.D.

There is no cost to attend and a complimentary box lunch will be provided.


8:15-9:00 a.m.: Registration.

9:00-11:00 a.m.: Carol Jones, stored engineering specialist, Oklahoma State University, will speak on her research and extension work that focuses on keeping grain in good condition and providing a safe working environment in agriculture.

11:00-11:15 a.m.: Break.

11:15 a.m. - noon: Grain entrapment demonstration – Agtegra.

Noon - 12:50 p.m.: Lunch and learn / Q&A panel ag safety professionals.

1:00-2:30 p.m.: Silo the Film movie screening.

2:30-2:45 p.m.: Final comments and remarks.
