USDA’s Farm Service Agency in South Dakota reminds producers to ensure their current contact information is on file with their local office. This will allow FSA to inform producers of program deadlines, reporting requirements, outreach events and other important updates.

FSA also reminds producers that online services are available to customers with an eAuth account, which provides access to the portal where producers can view USDA farm loan information and payments and view and track certain USDA program applications and payments. Through FSA’s website, customers with an eAuth account can apply for certain programs and view FSA data on FSAfarm+, including farm records and maps. Another option to keep up-to-date on FSA programs and county announcements is through our GovDelivery email subscription. This gives subscribers immediate notification of their choice of different FSA farm program news ranging from county office newsletters to news releases in all program areas. To subscribe, visit

Farmers and livestock producers also have the option to receive important FSA notifications through text messages. USDA Service Centers are open for business by phone appointment only and field work will continue with appropriate social distancing. While our program delivery staff will continue to come into the office, they will be working with our producers by phone, and using online tools whenever possible. All Service Center visitors wishing to conduct business with the FSA, Natural Resources Conservation Service, or any other Service Center agency are required to call their Service Center to schedule a phone appointment.
