Low-stress livestock handling workshops set

The South Dakota Grassland Coalition is once again sponsoring low-stress livestock handling workshops across the state featuring Tom Noffsinger, a veterinarian from Nebraska.

Noffsinger is a nationally known expert in handling livestock. He plans to demonstrate how low-stress techniques relate to improved animal immune function, improved weaning practices and create a safer working environment. How to identify stress and low function will also be covered.

No RSVP is required for the sessions, which are scheduled for:
