Lake Region Extension Roundup will be held virtually

North Dakota State University Extension
Farm Forum

The 2021 Lake Region Extension Roundup will be split into two formats.

The first will be a variety of pre-recorded sessions. Recordings will be released Dec. 30 and be available until Jan. 6. The second part of the event this year will include one day of live presentations available via Zoom on Jan. 5. Pre-registration is required.

The annual event, which North Dakota State University Extension county offices organize, offers presentations on a wide range of agricultural production.

“This will be a great opportunity to incorporate ideas into your farming business to increase your net farm income,” says Bill Hodous, NDSU Extension’s agriculture and natural resources agent in Ramsey County.

All links to view the pre-recorded sessions and to pre-register for the Zoom session can be found at https://www.ag.ndsu.edu/ramseycountyextension.

Once you have registered, a link will be sent to you to join on Jan. 5.

General pre-recorded session topics are:

  • Small grains
  • Row crops
  • Marketing
  • Soil health
  • Economics
  • Livestock
  • Weeds
  • Horticulture
  • Family and community wellness
  • Small farms

Participating in the roundup is free of charge. For more information, contact your county office of NDSU Extension or Hodous at 701-662-7027 or bill.hodous@ndsu.edu.
