4-H club report: Dakota Sharpshooters
The Dakota Sharpshooters 4-H Club held its January meeting on Jan. 17 at the Masonic Temple. Brad Harms led the American pledge and Joe Duetenhoeffer led the 4-H pledge. The roll call was “favorite season.” There was correspondence from Aspire. The new business was approval of a $50 donation to Brown County 4-H 4ever in memory of Jim Sperry. The club met to make no-sew blankets and assemble bags for Child Protective Services. The club talked about meeting in February to assemble bean soup packets for the local food pantry.
The Dakota Sharpshooters 4-H Club held its February meeting on Feb. 2 at Holsing’s shop. Craig Crawford led the American pledge and Ada Sharp led the 4-H pledge. Roll call was “favorite winter sport to watch.” New business discussed included the winter fun activity, as well as 4-H fruit sales which were due Feb. 21.
The Dakota Sharpshooters 4-H Club held its March meeting on March 2 at the Holsing’s shop. The American pledge was led by Emily Malsam and the 4-H pledge was led by Katherine Selzer. Justin and Jayden Klootwyk joined the club as new members. New business included discussion of fruit sale pickup day as well as ideas for project night. The April meeting was held April 11.
