S.D. Prairie Classic in Huron on June 8

The Pride of the Prairie Appaloosa Horse Club and the S.D. Paint Horse Club will be sponsoring the S.D. Prairie Classic to be held at the Hippodrome on the SD State Fairgrounds on June 8, 2013. The S.D. Prairie Classic is an Appaloosa, Paint, and Open Horse Show.

The show kicks off with Paint Horse halter classes at 8:30 a.m. and followed at 10:00 a.m. by Appaloosa Horse and Open Horse halter classes along with a full schedule of performance and games classes for all horses. Paint horses showing in Paint classes for points must abide by APHA rules and the Paint exhibitors must be current members of the APHA. Appaloosa horses showing in classes for points must abide by ApHC rules and the Appaloosa exhibitors must be current members of the ApHC. All classes are open to all horses unless otherwise listed. The show will be governed by ApHC rules.
