Antler, N.D., ranch rodeo June 22-23
The Antler Outlaws will host its 3rd annual ranch rodeo to benefit the North Dakota Stockmen’s Foundation (NDSF) at 5 p.m. Saturday, June 22, at the creek near Antler, N.D.
The Saturday event is the first in a two-day series sanctioned by the Mouse River Ranch Rodeo Association (MRRRA). Sunday’s rodeo begins at 2 p.m., with proceeds benefitting the North Dakota Cowboy Hall of Fame.
Teams enrolled in the MRRRA will have first crack at entry into the 16-team event, but organizers expect four or five open slots for other ranch rodeo teams from across the state to enter, explained Gabe Thompson, Jr., event organizer.
The entry fee is $200 per team. The Outlaws will award championship buckles to Saturday’s first-place team, as well as cash prizes for the second- and third-place teams.
